Healthy Wrap

Soy Crumble Curry
This soy entry goes to WWB event hosted this month by Rajitha
Another Versatile product: Soy

One of the healthiest bean, used in many different ways: Soymilk, Soy sprout, soy Bean, tofu. When I hear the word “healthy Food”, I do have in mind it is tasteless! But not true at all, this recent product shared by my beloved Friend Swati’s. You can make many winner recipes with the soy crumble. If you are a meat lover (carnivore) definitely you stick to it. You can eat this protein-loaded dish without any guiltiness. My mom makes with minced lamb, now I make it with soy crumble. I am just unwrapping the recipe down.

Ingredients:

Soy: ½ packet of Veggie crumble by MorningStar (Main is soy protein) (one packet can be served for 4 persons) or Nutrela soy Granule
Onion: 2 minced
Tomato: 2 minced
Ginger garlic paste: 1 tsp
Chili powder: 1 tsp
Turmeric: pinch
Salt: The crumble contains salt (taste it before you want to add)
Garam masala: ½ tsp
Curry leaves: few
Coriander leaves: to garnish
Oil: 1 tsp

Method to make Soya Curry:

Heat oil in a pot; add the onion fry until it turns translucent
Add the tomatoes and cook until it leaves the oil
Drop the Ginger garlic paste, after 30 sec add the frozen soy, chili powder, and salt
No need to add water.
Mix it and close with lid. After few minutes, the masala should come together, give a final touch with the curry leaves, coriander leaves and garam masala.
This Soya curry can be served with Roti or Rice.

To make the wrap

You can use Tortilla wrap or Wheat roti/chapatti, burger bun or baguette hey let your imagination go wild!
Mine is wheat Chapati tied with green onion and served with fresh fun shaped cucumber.
Great and fun way to make the lunch box for the little one!
