Hearty Healthy Breakfast - For WBB event

Seeing my picture, I know what you might think. Is there any special to blog this ordinary breakfast with this scrambled egg (non-Veg) and toast? Hum, may be special … I didn’t mention my title " egg scrambled". Do Not scroll down to look my labels... Little work for ur little brain -Guess :) Just a story, I made this dish for dinner as a side dish. My husb, picky eater, he never accepts to try any new dish. He started tasting the dish and didn’t find any difference…his though was scrambled egg too) I was pretty surprise & happy, before he ends his dinner. I could not hide anymore; I simply announced it was not egg.
His innocent face shown millions of questions :)
Me: could u guess what is it?
He: paneer? I said you are pretty close and he failed to find it (what about u guys?)
I can say many of the brilliant blogger got the answer.

"Tofu", yeap, the scrambled tofu was a perfect success. The idea to turn this bland tofu came from my non-blogger friend (Chandu) who shares this recipe and encourages me to blog too. I just modified in my own way and turn into scrambled tofu.. Sorry, to dragging u with my story. You can have fun to trick anyone with this dish :)

My healthy low carb breakfast goes to the WBB event started by Dr.Nandita of Saffron Trail and hosted this month by Suganya of Tasty palette.

Ingredients:
Tofu: 1 packet (extra firm) crumble the tofu block
Turmeric:a pinch
Onion: 1 minced
Green chilies: 2 or 3 minced
Oil: 1 tsp
Black pepper: Freshly ground peppers the amount u wish.

Method:
Heat a pan with oil; sauté the onion followed by the Green chillis.
Add the tofu crumbled , turmeric and fry in medium heat until all the water are absorbed
It should start to dry out and should not hearing any sizzling sound! It should be around 8 or 10 min.
Voila you are done, add some freshly ground pepper and serve with toast or as a side dish.

To arrange the breakfast platter:

Garlic loaf bread: sliced and toasted , topped with scrambled tofu
Fruit: any season fruit (mine is Watermelon)

Note : the scrambled tofu taste like Egg the good thing is, it didn't turn harder and smell like Egg.....

An hearty healthy breakfast -Hopefully everyone will love it & stay fit :)
