Finally the winter comes to full stop. Even though, we didn’t experience any harsh winter in West cost, particularly in Bay. Winter is marked by rainy days, yes, only soaking makes us feel winter. We have already reached the average rainfall for this year, but the CA State declared water drought. The consequence will be fire danger. Everything is ringed together. Take some responsibility, fix any leakage pipe, and use caution when you are camping outside, after all natural resources are precious, it is our responsibility to save and protect. Don’t forget, Saturday March 28, to switch off lights and celebrate the Earth Hour.
Nowadays, there is plenty of sunshine till 8.00 pm! It is hard for my son to believe it is night and go to bed. I guess, all moms are facing the same thing in summer with their kids.
Coming to my Salad, I prepared this easy light cold pasta beans salad, it could be a great meal alone or a side dish for the barbeque, picnic, etc… You can use any leftover pasta, bean, any fresh seasonal vegetables or fruits. After all there is no rules to follow!

Khara/Masala Biscuit
I am including my MBP entry- snacks and savories, originated by Spice-café and Hosted by Awshwini.
The khara biscuit is one the Karnataka special! I saw at Namratha ‘s place first and bookmarked and saw again at Vanamala ‘s place. I couldn’t resist those spicy biscuits and baked it! They re extremely delicious, mild spice and savory! Perfect with cup of coffee or tea as evening snack! Both have similar recipes, I followed Nam who has cup measurement!
Thanks you both of you to share such a wonderful recipe.
Modification:
As I ve a kid who is fond of cookies, I reduce the chillies and ground into coarse paste!
Next time, I should make it little tin and reduce slightly the salt level for my taste buds!
Happy Ugadi for my readers!
