thank you for all these precious recipes; even now, I do some of the homemade treatments for my kids, like for cough, cold and mild fever....this ginger beer, we all drink.... I try to mix both the medicines and the home treatment together, sometimes, I don't know which one worked better but in anyways it would have worked!!!
nice post dear!!!
I buy candied ginger and ginger ale syrup... use them whenever I feel slightly sick :)
The article is so meaningful...yes life style has changed so much in India...
You are right in that in the U.S., there's just way too many over-the-counter medicines for the common cold or other sicknesses. I personally don't take any medicine when I get sick. I rely on food as medicine.
The ginger and soda is new to me for indigestion but makes sense though. The combo of the two ingredients sounds perfect. I drink ginger with honey for upset stomach and that works like wonders!
Hope you are better now.
