I am back! Hope everyone had a great summer vacation.
Have fun reading and viewing my exciting travel log!
Trip 1: Pondy-Chennai-Mumbai-Shirdi
My first road trip was Mumbai to Shirdi. I heard a lot about the Mumbai traffic, got a real experience when I got struck on road for hours. We reached Shirdi for evening Aarti, had a peaceful darshan and left the next day morning to Mumbai. I flew back the same day to Chennai with some Sweets purchased at Andheri. That was my first North-India trip, short but sweet and memorable one.
After all, Mumbai is vibrant, noisy and crowded, little disappointed that I couldn't eat any street food!
One day, I took rest in my place and the next day. I flew back Chennai-Bangalore.
Trip 2: Pondy-Chennai-Bangalore-Shimoga-Horanadu-Sringeri
From Bangalore, I did another 270 km by road to my in-laws place.
After two days of family and friends gathering, the third day, we left to Horanadu –Annapoorneshwari Temple and Sringeri Sharada Peetham, both located at Chickmagalur district.
Trip 3: Pondicherry - Tirupathi
Coffee estate - Malnad
The route to temple traverses Kudremukh (=Horse face) National Park. The dense thick forest, lush greenery, mists covered valleys, chill winds, many eye-catching falls, whoever visits will fall in love instantly for the tranquility and the nature beauty of Western Ghats.
Kadambi Falls-Kudremukh National Park
It was the monsoon season; the chill breeze and mist were covering the narrow road and many sudden curves, made me sick!
Small narrow narrow road covered by mist-Kudremukh
A foggy day in the mountains, clouds are playing hide and seek in the valley!

The third State, I visited was Tirumala-AP
Trip 4: Pondicherry-Kanchepuram-Vellore
The last trip but not least was the Golden temple (Lakshmi Narayani Temple) at Sripuram-Vellore-TN. A glittering (gold) temple shines through the extreme heat of Vellore!
Overall, we manage to visit in less than 3 weeks all those places, it was fun, excited and peaceful!
I will soon catching up all your posts !
